Do you have to integrate your CATIA engineering data into ENOVIA for Boeing's 787 Parts Information Management System (PIMS)? Click here to find out how CDG can help.
Do you have to integrate your CATIA engineering data into ENOVIA for Boeing's 787 Parts Information Management System (PIMS)?
- Do you have the resources to do it in the time available?
- Do want to spend the considerable time and money required to train staff to do the work, only to make them more attractive to other employers?
- Once the initial data is entered, how do you plan to maintain it going forward?
As set out in the Boeing Supplier Technical Data Guide (D6-54487), this could include any of the following:
"All Line Replaceable Units (LRU) / Line Maintenance Items (LMI) that have to be represented by CATIA V5 Model Based Definition (MBD), released and instanced in ENOVIA LCA. All repairable units and assemblies designed by the airframe, engine or component manufacturer, including buyer-furnished equipment and any sub-tier supplier".
As the major technical documentation supplier to the 787 programme, CDG may be able to help.
We have a large team of experienced aerospace authors trained and able to integrate data into ENOVIA LCA. Indeed we are already helping a number of suppliers in this task.
The whole training process took several months and required the team to travel to either the USA or Canada to receive the mandatory Boeing Dassault training.
Transferring this work to CDG would save you time and money, as well as avoiding the risk that the people who you have taken the time and expense to train, then leave, or are absent from work at a critical time.
Our unmatched knowledge of Boeing systems and our contacts within Boeing will ensure that your work is completed promptly and efficiently, so enhancing your supplier reputation.
If you would like to have a no obligation discussion about ENOVIA, or the Boeing 787 data requirements, please call Andrew Masson or Chris Moore on +44 (0) 1707 367700, or email.
