A successful outcome to the recent continual re-certification approval visit of the Welwyn Garden City facility by the British Standards Institute.
Tuesday, 22nd June 2010 dawned bright and clear in the UK, with just a hint of anticipation for the pending visit to the Welwyn Garden City branch by BSI auditor David Hitchen. As our BSI auditor, David’s task was to carry out a three-yearly Quality Management Audit of the branch to satisfy the requirements of ISO9001:2008. As per the requirements, BSI already audit us twice-yearly but are required to carry out this full quality system audit every third year.
David found our systems to be fully functional and fit for use, without any findings or recommendations, thus ensuring our continued approval. A new BSI approval certificate will be placed on the wall in the front office, replacing the existing one. As always, I must thank all of you who have assisted in recent audits and procedural rewrites in helping the company maintain its quality approval.
